Since 1985, the Rising Phoenix Jaycees has been an excellent organization for young people to begin building the foundation for a successful career by developing their organizational, management, and business skills through the betterment of their community.
We provide our members with tools to build the bridges of success for themselves personally and professionally. Members receive hands-on training by coordinating and participating in big and small projects. We meet new people, and work with ones who have been in Honolulu for decades. In order to help provide balance in our often hectic lives, we also provide many opportunities for social and business interaction.
A calendar of organized community projects, networking and social mixers, guest speakers, fun social events, conventions, retreats and much, MUCH more is at our fingertips! Some members spend an hour a week or an hour a month on chapter activities - the choice is theirs.
Leadership Development
The Rising Phoenix Jaycees builds tomorrow's leaders today - one member at a time. We learn by doing. Our hands-on training approach gives members the opportunity to run community service projects and other chapter events that enhance the lives of our community. Our members learn the skills needed to plan major projects, motivate groups, problem-solve, budget, run meetings, and much more!
Community Involvement
Community involvement is a primary focus for the Rising Phoenix Jaycees. Dedicated to promoting and improving the quality of life for all, we work hard to make a positive impact on the Honolulu community each year. Membership Development
The greatest friendships develop in our organization. Whether we meet for drinks and dinner; surf at Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park; catch a movie or volleyball game; or play a round of golf, this is a good group of people to do it with.
