The Rising Phoenix Jaycees is the premier young person's organization in the state of Hawaii. We are a not-for-profit, nonpartisan organization made up of tomorrow's leaders and today's up-and-coming young professionals, dedicated to leadership, individual development and community service. The Jaycees has a dual purpose: (1) to promote leadership training and self-improvement for our members, and (2) provide service and support for our community. And, our goal is to have fun doing it!
Simply put, we are young people, ages 21 through 40, who have come together for a common purpose: creating positive change in our community and in ourselves while having a great time.
Diversity and Variety
We represent a variety of occupations, interests, and social and economic backgrounds. We are entrepreneurs, engineers, teachers, accountants, financial planners, salespeople, realtors, bankers, nonprofit administrators - and everything in between. As individuals, we subscribe to many different political ideologies and religious beliefs (the Jaycees is not a religious or political organization).
A Global Network
As Jaycees, we are part of a local network of dynamic young professionals in Hawaii. We are also members of the Hawaii Jaycees, the United States Junior Chamber and the Junior Chamber International(JCI) a worldwide federation of 200,000 young leaders and entrepreneurs who are located in more than 6,000 communities in over 100 nations throughout the world. As members, we are part of 200,000 active JCI members and millions of JCI alumni participating in projects, meetings, learning programs and events to help create positive change in our world.
